Joe’s began serving great food in downtown Fresno in May of 2005. Independently owned and family operated by the Anaya family, Joe’s takes great pride in providing delicious food and the best customer service. The Anaya family wanted a place where their guests would feel at home while dining. At the same time, they wanted to fill a niche that was void in downtown. Thus, Joe’s was established to provide a place where people could have dinner before a play at the Saroyan, a beer or a glass of wine and an appetizer before the ball game, a delicious lunch during the work week or a place to hold a lunch or dinner meeting.
Located in the heart of downtown Fresno, Joe’s occupies the original Sambo’s restaurant built and operated in the 1960’s.
